After having a wonderful lunch at the Tiger Lilly Cafe, Kimberly & I started strolling through Port Jeff village. With all it locally-owned shops it is a fun place to window shop. We were startled out of our Saturday afternoon idyll by legions of parking enforcement officers swarming across the village. I took a look at the nearest parking sign to discover 1 hour parking or a $30 fine. Since our meal at Tiger Lilly must have taken most of the hour, we headed back to our car and out of the village without spending a dime at its merchants. If this is not your idea of an enjoyable day, email the Port Jeff Chamber of Commerce at info@portjeffchamber.com.
