About 40 people gathered on a main road outside our local Unitarian Universalist Fellowship during rush hour with candles and signs. We stood for an hour, talking quietly amongst ourselves, waving signs at passing drivers, and singing. It was actually quite beautiful to see the candles in the darkness. While many individuals knew each other from other peace actions, there was a significant presence of new young adults – a very exciting promise of increased energy to stop this war regime!
