Finding the Next Step:
Immigration, Unity and Action
12:30 PM in the McGann Conference Center
Suffolk County Legislator Ricardo Montano and Rev. Allan Ramirez will be joining us with insight into the local issues and how we, along with government officials effect immigrants.
2:00 PM-6:00 Pm Solidarity Fair in the Quad
Enjoy a variety of activities, displays and presentations. Local artists, musicians and businesses will be presenting their talents, while you take action and call your representatives.
6:00 PM Food for Thought in the Quad
Activities include: Interactive Chalk Mural (Make your mark and let your voice be heard!) Poetry Slam, Spoken Word and Open Mic Session. International Potluck Dinner (Please bring any dish of your liking to share in our Solidarity Supper.) Followed by live music and dancing!
9:00 PM Candlelight vigil for peace.
A moment of quiet reflection as we conclude by adding light to the darkness.
