Tentative schedule of Green Party press conferences, presidential candidates’ forum, and other media events at the party’s 2007 annual  national meeting in Reading, Pennsylvania

• Former Georgia Rep. Cynthia McKinney will attend on Sunday, July 15th showing of the film ‘American Blackout‘
• Meeting site: The Abraham Lincoln Wyndham Hotel in downtown Reading

The Green Party has announced its schedule of press conferences to take place during ‘Green for a Change,‘ the party’s 2007 annual national meeting

Greens will meet at the Abraham Lincoln Wyndham Historic Hotel, 100 North Fifth Street in downtown Reading, 877-999-3223

The Friday press conferences will feature Green candidates for the party’s presidential and vice presidential nomination and candidates for local and state office.

Ralph Nader, 2004 independent candidate for President, will speak at a Saturday evening press conference on ballot access in Pennsylvania and other states across the US.  Former Georgia Rep. Cynthia McKinney will attend on Sunday, July 15,
and answer questions after a screening of the film ‘American Blackout’ www.americanblackout.com.

The schedule is tentative and subject to change: 

• Friday, July 13, 11 am: Press Conference: Candidates for the Green Party’s 2008
  presidential, vice presidential nomination names to be announced; see also

• Friday, July 13, 5:30-7 pm: Forum featuring Green presidential, vice presidential candidates Moderator: Barbara Rodgers-Hendricks Presidential Ballroom
• Saturday, July 14, 11 am Press Conference room reserved for interviews with International Greens Green Party leaders from Canada, the European Union, and other nations (to be announced)
• Saturday, July 14, 5 pm Press conference on Ballot Access Moderator: Marakay Rogers.  Ralph Nader, 2004 independent presidential candidate,  Carl Romanelli, 2006 Pennsylvania Green candidate for US Senate, Phil Huckelberry, Green Party Ballot co-chair, Access Committee representative Others to be announced Press conference room
