An announcement from PeaceSmiths, Inc.:
On Friday, February 15th at 8pm, PeaceSmiths will hold a Forum on Single Payer Universal Healthcare. The event will take place at the First United Methodist Church, Amityville.
The speaker for the evening will be Mary Reed Dewar of the LI Coalition for a National Health Plan. Ms. Dewar is a retired nurse, who now focuses her work on health policy.
There will be time for questions from the audience.
