Most of Michigan’s delegates for the Green Party Presidential nomination were selected, April 18.
Of the 19 delegates awarded, 13 went to McKinney; an additional five delegates have not yet made their intentions known. With eight states reporting, McKinney now has 86 delegates out of the 133 that
have been awarded for the Green Party National Convention
— Sunday Evening 10k Club —
The campaign has launched its latest fundraising initiative, the Sunday Evening 10k Club. Two house parties, one in Decatur, Georgia and one in Alachua, Florida, were held to raise both money and awareness for the campaign. On May 4th, we’ll hold our next set of virtual house parties with events in four communities, this time weighted for western time zones.
The goal now is for supporters around the country to hold 10 house parties every Sunday, raising $1,000 in campaign contributions from each location. Hosting a house party is easy; it requires no prior experience and the campaign will work closely with hosts. If you are interested in hosting a house party, please let us know at:

* Host Your Own Virtual House Party!
You invite friends over, you play them mp3’s of Cynthia’s announcement or other speeches, or (if your connection is good enough) perhaps show the video from her website. You join a conference call with Cynthia and others doing the same thing across the country. You urge everyone to contribute to the campaign, using the webform on your computers’ browser and/or give them each contribution envelope to mail their check or money order. You ask someone else from the group to host the
next house party. Repeat the process until we get Cynthia the GP nomination and elected. To schedule a virtual house party in your community, write: SundayEvening10kClub@runcynthiarun.org
