Cliff Thornton is dedicated to making our drug policies sane. He is at the forefront of the struggle against so-called “war on drugs”, which he has brilliantly exposed as a tool to control us with fear and a covert war against the poor and communities of color. Active in the Green politics as Steering Committee Co-Chair and Gubernatorial Candidate for Connecticut in 2006, he persuasively advocates for decriminalization and medicalization of controlled substances as a way to make the society more just and humane. |
Workshops are interactive and participatory for all attendees, empowering you to build a better world. A wide range of Green issues are covered in the workshops, such as ecology, local economy, voting system reform, and dismantling the military-industrial complex, as well as practical sides of Green campaigning. .
