Hip-Hop activist Rosa Clemente was chosen as the Green Party Vice Presidential candidate to share the ticket with Green Party Presidential candidate Cynthia McKinney in Chicago on July 12, 2008.
This is post is getting a lot of views. And, I realized, that I should say it is an excerpt, even of the shout-out. So, look forward in next couple of days when we get home our better video equipment to put the whole thing on-line. Even C-Span cut some of Rosa’s speech. Her speech was long, but valuable and needed. And, because of that, the audience was with her all the way.

Heartfelt congratulations to Sista Cynthia McKinney and Sista Rosa Clemente. I hope you will be able to come to the Luv4Self Conference Sept. 19 – 21 in Baltimore. I saw both of you briefly at the Hurricane Katrina Tribunal in New Orleans and I look forward to seeing you and hearing your plan to turn the United Snakes back into the United STATES (if it ever was in the first place)!
