Schuylerville adds new board members
The appointments came as trustee Roger Sherman (no relation to the mayor) stepped down on Wednesday.
Roger Sherman, elected in March, said he left the board because it was not progressive enough
on issues facing the village. He cited the hesitancy to pursue consolidating services with the town of Saratoga or to consider dissolution.“They just don’t seem to be there for the people; they seem to be there for themselves,” he said, describing the board as “ultraconservative” and “dysfunctional.”
