If you can lend a hand this Saturday, we need your help. Come for an hour or more. Bring friends. Bring the entire family.
EDGEWOOD PRESERVE, Commack Road, Deer Park (approx 1.5 miles SOUTH of the LIE, entrance is on the EAST side of Commack Road).
Saturday, November 1, 11AM to 3PM (Rain cancels, clouds do not)
Raindate is Sunday, November 2, 11AM to 3PM
• Cut back trails
• Pick up litter in parking lot
• Cut back weeds in parking area
• We need a few strong men who can help along the rail spur by moving some fallen trees and organizing some heavier debris for pick up by the town
• We may also be taking the bluebird nest boxes down for the winter and some may want to help with that.
There is much to do before winter sets in and all hands are needed and welcomed!
If you have gloves and pruners, please bring them (we have a good supply but extras are always helpful).
We will have bottled water available.
Thank you for your support! Call or e-mail me if you have questions or need more info.
Happy Halloween!
