Now it took several years for Babylon Town Supervisor Bellone to accept my suggestion that the town board meetings should be printed on the annual town calendar that is printed and mailed with our tax dollars. He still refuses to list the board meetings on that actual days, though they have no problem listing every other fair that happens on town property on the actual calendar day. But that should be no surprise since they refuse to put notice of the town board meetings on event the sign in front of town hall that our tax dollars pay for. though the date of the annual duck races are posted their every year.
The point of this post is that out of 19 town board meetings for the year, only TWO are outside of of 9am to 5pm work hours.
So mark down February 25th and April 22nd on your calendars becuase if you have a 9-5 job those will be your only chances to address your town board. And if you have a day job, forget about addressing them during October and November when they draft and pass the budget to spend your tax dollars.

Nothing seems to be easier than seeing someone whom you can help but not helping.
I suggest we start giving it a try. Give love to the ones that need it.
God will appreciate it.
