Oral Argument in Nader v Democratic National Committee Set for March 20th
The U.S. Court of Appeals, D.C. Circuit, will hear oral arguments in Nader v Democratic National Committee, on the morning of Friday, March 20, at the U.S. Courthouse at 333 Constitution Avenue. The case number is 08-7074. The 3-judge panel starts hearing cases at 9:30 a.m., and the Nader case is the third one that will be heard.
This case stems from Ralph Nader’s run for President of the United States in 2004. The case accuses the Democratic National Committee of using coordinated “acts of harassment, intimidation and sabotage” against Nader’s candidacy. On Nader’s side, Peter Miguel Camejo is one of the appellants. Nader names as appellees/defendants: John Kerry, Kerry-Edwards 2004, Inc., and Reed Smith, LLP and others.
