Ian Tamblyn is one of Canada’s national treasures and we welcome him back for an afternoon of great music and engaging stories from a master raconteur. His music often reflects the range of his travels, with songs associated with visits to Scotland, Antartica, and Canada from the west coast, to the Arctic Circle, to his home in Chelsea, Quebec. His songs have been recorded by Sylvia Tyson, James Keelaghan, Lynn Miles and Hart Rouge, among others and they are the subject of a recent tribute CD. The recipient of numerous awards, he has recently been nominated for Best Artist by the Canadian Folk Music Awards in 2007. www.tamblyn.com
