I had my brief brush with the happy life and person of Frank McCourt when I worked on his brother Malachy McCourt’s 2006 Governor campaign. Also, my mother-in-law read Frank McCourt’s book “Teacher Man” and kept telling me that I would love it. Suppose it is time to pick it up.
Frank McCourt passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2009. He was 78 years old.
