You really think you need to tell Green Party members this. We supported Cynthia McKinney. While you, and Barbara Lee. were supporting Obama. Why not celebrate Cynthia, the presidential candidate who opposed the Afghan War? Or are too afraid of the pro-war Democratic Party to do that?

If left unchecked, the Taliban insurgency will mean an even larger safe haven from which al Qaeda would plot to kill more Americans. So this is not only a war worth fighting. > No, it wasn’t George Bush. It was our current President, Barack Obama, parroting Bush’s position on endless war in the Middle East . While the media is focused on the controversial elections in Afghanistan , we need to remind Obama that this is indeed a war of choice , and that he needs to choose to bring our troops home and give the US people his exit strategy.
> Sign up to join our Afghanistan action team . We’ll begin with a media blitz from September 14-18, timed to honor the anniversary of Barbara Lee’s courageous vote against the war. Then we will join in anti-war activities the week of October 5th – 10th marking the 8th anniversary of the invasion.

> With both public and military opinion on our side, we need Obama to feel our heat so he can realize how misguided he is about this war. Now is the time for us to quiz ourselves and ask what we can do to affect Obama’s position on Afghanistan. Join our action team , together we will raise our voices. There is too much talk about a missing anti-war movement on Afghanistanlet them hear us load and clear.

[…] This is the second time that Code Pink has been clueless in going to Greens with a supporter of Obam…. They targeted a Tom Hayden email to Green Party members. (email below) Are Green Party members who opposed these wars from the beginning, and whose candidates oppsed these wars, really gonna want any advice from the guy who told people to vote for the pro-war Obama? I think not. […]
