From Bayard Rustin in the Civil Rights Movement to Leslie Feinberg in the Socialist Movement, the truth is that sex and gender minorities have always been a part of progressive movements. From historical revision to hate-crimes, some fabulous Queer folks have been taken away from us all. But besides setting the record “straight”, our compelling realities create teachable moments. In order to create a better world for all, we have to be able to learn from each other. And part of that is getting past fear of the unfamiliar. Come join two LGBTI (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual.
