There is an air quality advisory for Sunday, July 4th of 2010 for Long Island and the NYC metro area. 10am to 10pm.
A big part of smog and ozone is a result of car emissions. So, please use public transportation, carpool, and/or drive less.
Take extra care if you have asthma or respiratory illnesses, or are doing strenuous activities outdoors.
