For 2014, Howie Hawkins is once again the Green Party candidate for Governor of New York. There was a 4-way debate which included Howie Hawkins on October 22, 2014 in Buffalo.

“I think the media’s coverage afterward, they did not deal with the serious issues I was trying to address,” he said. “It was more like a review of ‘American Idol’ than an account of the candidates. I was disappointed in that because there are serious problems we have to face.”
