PeaceSmiths, Inc. is a nonprofit community group that does events and organizing around the issues of peace/nonviolence, justice, and the environment. PeaceSmiths holds a coffeehouse on the first Friday of the month from October through June. The January 2011 PeaceSmiths Coffeehouse has just been canceled due to the snow. PeaceSmiths is held at the First United Methodist Church in Amityville.
We call it “The last church on the left.”

(Broadway is actually the southmost end of RT 110
near Merrick Road/Montauk Highway.)
