A three judge panel has rejected an appeal by the Peruvian State Prosecutor that would have returned Lori and Salvador to prison. The panel reaffirmed the decision of the original judge granting Lori parole because she has fulfilled all necessary requirements. The conditions of parole require Lori to remain in Peru until she has completed her sentence.
We are thrilled that Lori and Salvador will no longer face the possibility of a return to prison. Once again, on behalf of Lori, Salvador and ourselves we thank all of you who have given us your support, encouragement and good thoughts for these many, many years.
