State Capitol Access Limited Again Tuesday

MADISON, Wis. (WTAQ) – The public’s access to the State Capitol will be limited again Tuesday, when Governor Scott Walker speaks to the Legislature about his next state budget…

Police only let a few in at a time – and they allowed other protestors to enter if they were escorted by a lawmaker. The American Civil Liberties Union wrote Administration Secretary Mike Huebsch and said the selective admitting of individuals was, “presumptively unconstitutional.”

About 50 protestors were in the Capitol last night, and police have not tried to forcibly remove people from the rotunda…

Also, at the AFL-CIO blog, they are reporting that Governor Walker is having windows welded shut at the Capitol. The AFL-CIO folks believe it is to prevent people from handing food into the protesters.
