Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a way to belong to a farm or garden, while supporting the farmer, and celebrating the act of “eating local”. Many CSA’s are organic.
Ian and I visited the NOFA (Northeast Organic Farming Association) fair on March 2nd. It was a chance for people to learn about CSA’s, and possibly join one for the upcoming season. (Spring is coming!)
We joined Biophilia in Riverhead — our new home. And, we brought back ideas and photos from the other markets and CSA’s who came to table. It was a great event!
