The magazine will quench Long Island’s need for this type of information.
The LOHAS segment is a diverse and growing community of people and businesses that provide sustainable goods and services to consumers identified as “Cultural Creatives” people who make conscientious lifestyle decisions based on social and cultural values

Locally owned and operated, canvas is an environmentally sensitive magazine that was born from the personal passion, of publishers Tom Pellicane and Matt O’Grady. Veteran publishing professionals, the pair realized there was no magazine on Long Island that spoke about issues that were important to them as responsibly minded consumers.

Canvas will be available complimentary to readers at outlets throughout Nassau & Suffolk Counties. The first edition of canvas serves as an introduction with “primer” articles about alternative medical therapies, Organics 101, and the truth about biodiesel.
