Anyone who would like may bring a two minute presentation, newspaper clipping, poem, treatise, or plan on the topic of the evening. The theme is “How-To Save the Earth in Two Minutes”, including issues on the environment, anti-nuclear activism, and addressing global warming.
Huntington artist Gary Ivan, will be the Master of Ceremonies, and will also sketch the proceedings. The event will be taped by a Public Access Producer for possible broadcast on television and on-line video. Each presentation by an audience member will be responded to by a panel of activist artists.
For the last How-To Forum, audience presentations included a speech on how to “Get over it” in order to end the war, and a song about economic justice. For their part, the artists panel wound up producing several poems, a skit about Bernie Madoff, and songs on such topics as peace in the world and Mimetic Theory.
