Westcott has a depth of musical and life  experience to draw upon. During the 60’s, he played in the basket houses of Greenwich Village, then moved to Manchester, England to explore the British Folk Scene. During the 70’s, Westcott traveled throughout Canada and the US, living in the Midwest, California and Upstate NY before settling on Eastern Long Island. Westcott is a Long Island Music Award nominee. He has opened for several nationally-known performers, including John Hammond, Merle Haggard, Richie Havens, Tom Paxton, The Nields, and most recently, Richard Shindell. Westcott’s annual Spring Fling is a wildly popular event in which he presents his personal favorite musicians to the Folk Music Society audience.  He has released three solo albums: Rollin’ Along, Wherever You Go, and Falling from Graceland.

Westcott fronts the Americana trio The Tobacco Roadies which includes Ken “The Rocket” Korb and Mike DeGeronimo.  Westcott also performs as a member of the super groups The Defibrillators and Blacklisted & the Banned.  Albums by the Defibrillators and Blacklisted are available at www.cdbaby.com.

Babylon Green Party Gatherings are held on the first Wednesday of every month:

• The October 7, 2009 Gathering will feature Sr. Jeanne Clark speaking about World Peace Day activities
• The November 4, 2009 Gathering will feature Terry Morrone speaking about “The Selling of 9/11”
• The December 2, 2009 Gathering  will feature musician Hank Stone for the annual Green Party Holiday Party.
• The January 6, 2010 Gathering will feature the bluesy folk-jazz of Stephanie Carlin .
