FRIDAY, AUGUST 20, 2010:      A TRIPLE HEADER IN LINDENHURST!!

WOW! Lindenhurst will be hopping from 6:00 and 10:00 pm when THREE, count them, THREE Long Island favorites; Hank Stone, Grand Folk Railroad and Denise Romas will be performing in 3 separate venues within STEPS of each other in the village.

6:00-10:00   Grand Folk Railroad at the Village Lantern Restaurant- 143 N. Wellwood Ave (near BACCA and Black Forest Bakery)

7:00-9:30     WAVELENGTH (Denise Romas/Ray Jensen) with a full band:  Patrick O’Rourke, ‘Big George’   Cassidy,Scott Hickey) outdoors on the Village Green- corner of Wellwood/Hoffman Aves. (north side of LIRR)- bring a lawn chair

7:30-10:00   Hank Stone at The Spoon Coffee House- 125 S. Wellwood Ave. (just south of LIRR)

Plan your night accordingly… hmm…. here’s an idea:  a little dinner at the Village Lanterne (with those incredible pretzel rolls!), then take a 3-minute stroll to the Village Green (walk off those pretzel rolls!), sit awhile, digest… and continue south on Wellwood another 3 minutes to The Spoon for a little dessert/coffee! Take 6-minute walk back to the car to walk off the dessert, humming any one of the great tunes you were treated to this evening.
