Though the New York Times article is slanted negative, you can’t miss the parts of Jason’s impressive resume that they let slip through including: “at 26 he became the first member of the Green Party to be elected mayor in New York State. But it was the next year when he created a furor for performing same-sex marriages that were later declared illegal” and his resume continues with “keeping national chain stores out of the village, putting solar panels on the town garage, initiating a study to find ways to alleviate traffic growth and protecting wetlands” Most elected officials don’t accomplish this in 20 years, much less the 4 short years Jason had.
