So much was going on at the Green Party Annual National Meeting and Presidential Convention last minute, I can’t believe all the opportunities, photos, and people that I missed.
One irony I had been dying for a photo of (but passed by one day late to something and never got back) was a sign in a window.
As you may know, the theme for the 2008 Green Party Presidential Convention in Chicago was: “Live Green! Vote Green.” Well, the same weekend, there were events for children at the Chicago Public Library called: “Read Green! Live Green!”. I even found a color poster in a window with the library motto. Though, never had time to snap the photo. If someone is still in town, it would be a great shot. It was near the block of the hotel.

Renowned Chicago artist, Steve Musgrave, has created the artistic pieces for this and many Summer Reading Programs at the Chicago Public Library. Now kids can join him for a workshop on nature drawing. Kids will learn about artistic styles and techniques. Materials will be provided.
