Over 600 people are already registered. DJ, dancing, and more is planned. It’s rummored that the Cat in the Hat, The Man in the Yellow Hat, and Captain Feathersword will be joining! Sponsorship and in-kind donations are welcomed. Checks should be made payable to DSAF including LI Buddy Walk on the memo and sent to the above address. This is an ongoing project of Alexander’s Angels (the family and friends of a child with DS) in collaboration with DSAF, ACDS, DSRTF, Briarcliffe College, Long Island University/C. W. Post Campus School of Education, and Nassau County Department of Mental Health, Chemical Dependency and Developmental Disabilities Services.
