My buddy Jim Frazzitta, the lead singer of Nylon & Steel is in the studio recording a solo. album. This album is much more singer-songwriter than Nylon & Steel’s Slip Behind the Molecule. He returned to Dare Studios, the place where Lotek J Williams & I joined to band for a show. But this time he is spending Mondays there recording.
But Jim is much too social to not invite a few friends over. By the time he called me up to put some spoken word over a 13-year old instrumental, he had already invited David Bartow (drums) Lotek J Williams (vocals) and Paul Matthews (Guitar) into the studio to join him. on prior sessions. Those names should be familiar since they all were members of N&S. and the instrumental I laid down the spoken word over was the first recording 13 years ago by Jim & David when they founded the band (then a duo.)
The Jim called back to ask if Kimberly wanted to record a flute track on one song. It worked out that Paul Cama, another N&S member, was coming in for a session to record a drum track. Kimberly took the picture of Paul, Jim & I in the reheasal room we used for a show 10 years ago.
