SATURDAY 10/18/08 at 9AM — a bird walk led by the Great South Bay Audubon Society. Don’t miss a wonderful opportunity to walk Edgewood and learn about its diverse bird life from some of the best birders around.
SUNDAY 10/19/08 at 1PM — an update about the proposed Pilgrim Intermodal Facility: since the veto by the Governor of the Edgewood bill — what’s happening? what’s next? and what you can to help! Don’t miss this outdoor, town hall style event — local elected officials, some who are on the ballot this November will likely be there to say a few words. We encourage you to attend and ask questions and press them for their positions on this important issue.
