Some states are starting to report results. I usually go to cnn.com for quick results. See state summary below.
CNN is reporting South Carolina as being for McCain
Georgia – looks like McCain in lead, but not a lot reported
Indiana – looks like McCain in lead
North Carolina – looks like McCain in lead
Virginia – looks like McCain is in the lead. It is not surprising because WBAI previously reported tonight that students at Virgina Tech were being really disenfranchised. The WBAI commentator compared it to Ohio in 2004. Will be interesting to watch
Ohio – This state matters a lot. Some places have said McCain needs Ohio to win. With less than 1% of precincts reporting, some good numbers are coming in for Obama.
I think this will be a long night…
