Please come out and support the 15 demonstrators – many Iraq Veterans Against the War – who were arrested the night of the Hofstra Presidential Debate. They wanted to ask the two major party candidates a question about the war and a question about veteran benefits, and they were denied entry. When a group of demonstrators was retreating to the sidewalk, they were pushed by police horses, with Nick Morgan being knocked to the ground and getting his cheekbone fractured.
Let’s show that we believe in peace and non-violence, and peaceful and non-violent assembly! Go the court as part of the rally outside, and/or court support inside. -KW
