KW: I just wanted to jot some things about the world around me. It is snowing up a storm outside our window in lovely, Long Island, New York. ..The roads were expected to be especially icey, and with dangerous traveling conditions, and the general lack of jobs and money around here, nearly everyone I asked was staying home for New Year’s, or just going to a close-by family member’s home. So, a quiet New Year’s Eve in Long Island. Some photos below. And, if I get up the energy later, I will bundle up and try to take some more photos or short video of the snow.
