A three-alarm fire has been reported at The Mount Sinai Hospital, a 1,200-bed facility on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, but according to reports, no patients have been injured…

1010WINS radio also reports that the fire started in the hospital’s emergency room and said there is a full lockdown of Madison Avenue from 96th to 106th streets. The hospital is located at Fifth Avenue and 101st Street…

Firefighter Hourly, a Web site that monitors firefighter radio frequencies, reports that heavy smoke conditions still exist and firefighters are performing searches throughout the building. The fire on the second floor appears to have been extinguished.
