Romanelli prepares to take fight to state court

Former Green Party senatorial candidate Carl Romanelli and his lawyer are quickly preparing their argument why the Pennsylvania Supreme Court should overturn a lower court’s ruling that makes the two responsible for $80,000 in court expenses, costs and attorneys’ fees.
The fees stem from when Romanelli, a Wilkes-Barre resident, was removed from the 2006…
The Democratic Party has been trying to get Romanelli and his lawyer, attorney Lawrence Otter, to pay $80,000 in legal fees…
According to court documents, they have until April 22 to prepare and send in their case. Romanelli said he expects they might have a final decision by mid to late May…
