On Memorial Day, this is a good example to me of hypocrisy. Many people in government say “support our troops” in order to promote war. But, when it comes to genuinely helping our troops and our veterans, they do not do enough. What an outrage that a citizen could be sent overseas to fight “for our country”, and in so doing lose her ability to have her vote counted.
