re: Tom Golisano and his cohorts in the coup to take over the NY State Senate
You know, Tom Golisano has exposed himself, more than he could ever imagine. Because, he is part of a group of people who just do not get it.
Golisano is now being clear that he thinks that charges of domestic violence are a “personal issue.”
The NY Post notes that Hiram Monserrate, one of Golisano’s pawns in the NY State Senate coup, “…was indicted for allegedly slashing his girlfriend in the face with a broken glass.”
That situation is not a “personal issue”, unless you are a male who thinks that domestic violence is a “personal issue” to be left behind closed doors.
As quoted by Elizabeth Benjamin at her Daily News political blog:
Asked about the fact that Monserrate is facing felony assault charges and Espada has been both delinquent in filing his campaign finance reports and under investigation by AG Andrew Cuomo’s office, Golisano replied:
“Don’t talk to me about ethical backgrounds in Albany, New York. We have a governor who stood on a podium on national television and said he had extramarital affairs and used cocaine. These guys have some personal issues? I don’t think they’re part of the picture.”
