The NY State Senate Democrats met this afternoon. A Republican Senator strolled through the chamber, and the Democrats said that gave them a majority and the right to hold a session. The Republican says that he was just getting a drink. The Governor has said he will not approve the measures passed by the Democrats-only today.
The Governor -with support from a judge – has called the entire NY State Senate into session for 7pm tonight, Tuesday, June 30, 2009.
