On Saturday, September 12th, PeaceSmiths will hold its annual Fundraising Concert at the First United Methodist Church, 25 Broadway(Route110), Amityville, NY. The church is at the southmost end of Route 110 near Merrick Road (Montauk Highway), and is affectionately known as the last church on the left.
The evening’s performers include Mark Yodice; Ken “The Rocket” Korb and Lora Kendal; Jeff Curtis; Rich Stein’s “The Counterclockwise Ensemble” and “Easy Anthems.” Sonny Meadows will be hosting.

The night of music and dinner is available for a $25.00 donation. The doors open at 4 p.m. for dinner. There will be great vegetarian food, including Sonny Meadows’ vegetarian chili with home-grown habaneros and jalapenos. The music begins at 5 p.m.

Rich Stein’s “Counterclockwise Ensemble” is a vibrant string and percussion quintet giving masterful performances of Stein’s classical/new age compositions. Easy Anthems are singers, songwriters, entertainers and producers – Phil and Vanessa Jimenez have made their mark on the local and national scene. As members of “Jordan River”, “Gordo Gringo”, and “Wheatus”; they have provided us with a wealth of magical material that keeps us dancing and singing long after the show is over.
