The Power of Song” is a film that documents the life of one of the greatest American singer/songwriters of the last century, and the architect of the folk song revival with original songs like “Where Have All the Flowers Gone?”, “Turn, Turn, Turn”, and “If I Had a Hammer” It is grand entertainment, with musicians including Arlo Guthrie, Joan Baez, Bruce Springsteen, and Peter, Paul and Mary.
Largely misunderstood and criticized for his strong beliefs he was blacklisted and banned from commercial TV for 17 years despite his big popularity.
