from beat radio:
Hi guys. It seems like playing shows is the new not playing shows, so we’re booking lots of shows this summer.
We’re kicking things off with an early show tonight at Pianos. We’re on at 7. Will you join us for a drink?
You can check out the flyer
here. RSVP on Facebook
here.
Pianos is located at 158 Ludlow Street, NYC. Hope to see you!
For you guys here on Long Island, I’ll be playing a solo acoustic show this Friday along w/ my good friend
Greg Fine. I’ve known Greg for a really long time and he’s incredibly talented. We’re playing at his Yoga Studio in Merrick which is called
Fuel the Soul. My wife Liz also teaches there. It’s sort of a long story. There’s a Facebook invite for the show
here. Let me know if you have any song requests.
Also, we’re back in Brooklyn in a couple weeks with 2 shows at this year’s Northside Festival! You can check out the full schedule for the festival
here. I’m looking forward to checking out lots of great bands. We’ll be playing the 3rd Annual Battering Room Northside Showcase at Bar Matchless on Saturday afternoon and The L Magazine Show at The Gutter on Saturday night. We can’t wait.
Lastly, I’m hitting the road this summer for a bunch of out of town solo shows. Want me to come to your town? Tell me where. You can email me at
brian@beatradio.org.
Some cool radio stuff has been happening lately also. Gill Mills is a great DJ in the UK. She featured us last week on her podcast
New Music Matters and will also be featuring us next week on her new show on
Amazing Radio. Also, we’re getting some more airplay on
KCRW thanks to our friend Jason Kramer on his show
The Lab. Super excited.
This is a jam from back in the day:
mexico (mp3)
Cheers!
