Ballot Access activists create “How-To-Lobby” video, that would be useful for many causes

Found this video at Ballot Access News. It is specific to The Voter’s Choice Act, but could be applied to any grassroots lobbying.

There are a few reasons why Ian and I think this video is great. It was created by a coalition of various third party activists. And, we know one of the actors from Green Party politics. Also, one of the candidates whose story is mentioned is Carl Romanelli, who we like, and have videotaped. And, another one of the oppressed candidates is Nader. You can see our archival videos below, which relate to the problem at hand.

Here is a link to the above video at Youtube.

The above video was created by Pennsylvania ballot access activists to show people how they can act as constituents and prepare a meeting with their local legislator to discuss the Voter’s Choice Act. In Pennsylvania, candidates have been fined $80,000 for seeking a place on the Ballot. The difficult requirements and the high fines have resulted in no statewide candidates, other than Democrats or Republicans, being allowed on the ballot in Pennsylvania in the last two Governor’s Election Years.

You can find more information on the Voter’s Choice Act at Pennsylvania Ballot Access Coalition.
