The Riverhead community celebrated the re-opening of the Suffolk Theater on Main Street. The building is from the 1930’s, and the celebration included a historical tip of the hat.
There were folks young and old, politicians, a beauty queen with tiara and sash, live music (including a tuba), and lots of fun.
Ian and I were NOT the only ones dancing!
We will write more later. You can check out the Suffolk Theater and find their upcoming shows: here. It is quite an eclectic mix.
And, you can see our photos of the Suffolk Theater ribbon-cutting at Flickr: here.
Congratulations, Riverhead!
