KW: There seem to be a few Green Party primaries in Illinois. It is probably important for greens to understand who the best candidates are and vote in the primaries. There seem to be some candidates on the Green Party primary ballots who are not genuine greens (for example, someone says one candidate has run on the Democrat, Republican, Libertarian and other lines previously…) The only candidate name I recognized is Matt Reichel. He has been an active green for many years, and a previous green candidate. At the Green Party of Illinois website, they provide a list of “recognized” candidates, as well as contact information for some green leaders. You might want to contact patrick.kelly at ilgp.org with questions.
