Please witness, and support the people of Egypt.
It is 9:01 am EST/NY Time Sunday morning. Someone just said it is 4pm in Egypt, that is the beginning of the curfew.
Egyptian fighter jets are flying back and forth over the crowd in Tahrir Square in Cairo. The people are standing in defiance. But, just the sound, heard second-hand over the broadcast, is frightening and intimidating.
[Update: 9:30am: The fighter jets have stopped hovering for a little while now. The fact of the fighter jets was on Reuters at 9:20am, and I believe that with the attention, the government/military stopped for awhile. Watching seems helpful.]
I think it would help to be a pair of eyes witnessing.
In addition, I think help sending messages on social networks would help, since the government is trying to block social media.
Another recent development: The Minister of (Information? Interior?) and Minister of Defense were seen going into the main government television building, so that a message from government may be forthcoming.
I think that if you are blocked in your country from seeing the live feed, you can try to SKYPE people who have it available. Twitter and SKYPE seem to be useful tools to stay informed.
