This year the South Country Peace Group is delighted to honor Susan McKeon (current co-chair of SCPG), Muriel Foy, (life long peace & justice activist) and Richard Sackett (alternative media advocate & SCPG member).

LAST SUNDAY OF EACH MONTH – SCPG holds a candlelight sunset vigil the at the Four Corners in Patchogue (S. Ocean Ave. & Main St.). The names of those killed in the Iraq occupation are read. Bring signs, bring friends. The next vigil will be held on December 30th. Check back here for time.
Commemorative demonstration for the 4000th soldier killed in Iraq will take place on the Saturday after this information is posted at www.icasualties.org at the Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove.
