Well, at least the news is interesting. The Occupy Wall Street protesters marched across the Brooklyn Bridge. And, they succeeding in stopping all traffic leaving Manhattan on the Brooklyn Bridge. That is quite an accomplishment for a nonviolent demonstration.

Now, it appears the police have trapped or “kettled” hundreds (or is it a thousand or more?) of them in. And, the police seem to be intent on arresting every person caught between the ends of the bridge.

Wonder what that will accomplish. Will be interesting to see.

It appears that they have also arrested a young person, probably, a child. She is wearing a Kermit the Frog hat. I guess she could be 18 years old. But, I am thinking more like 14 years old. We shall see.

The protesters shut down their live feed at times, because the police were everywhere. Though, a moderator at the Live Stream chat says that Occupy Wall Street on the Brooklyn Bridge is now on CNN. I will check for a link and post it here if I find it. But, maybe it is only on TV?

Stay strong. Stay nonviolent. And, pay close attention.

At 8:27pm, 1010WINS reports that the Brooklyn Bridge was closed for 3 hours, but is finally reopened. – 10/1/2011
