One of our Green Party of Suffolk officers, Wendy Dann, suddenly came up with this wonderful phrase tonight.
We held our monthly Babylon Green Gathering at the Pisces Cafe. We showed a video of highlights from the Green Party Presidential Convention in Chicago.
At the end of the night, Wendy Dann had synthesized the discussion and information. And, having been inspired by the words of our presidential and vice presidential candidate, Wendy had a brainstorm:
The Green Party: Alternative Power.
And, the Green Party is that on so many levels.
Another Green wanted to add, we could also say, “Sustainable Power”
Guess that covers holding elections with (fair) public campaign financing, instead of millions of dollars shoveled into corporate campaigns.
