You can check your own voter registration

The board of elections recently purged 1.6 million voters.

The League of Women Voters is recommending that in New York, if you did not receive in the mail this year your postcard from the BOE telling you your polling place, you should be concerned that you might not be registered. If you did not receive a card, they recommend that you call your county Board of Elections ASAP and try to verify. You can also use the computer verification system at the state as explained below. Though, the League of Women Voters suggests that confirming with your county BOE is probably safer.

You can check your own voter registration at the NY State Board of Elections

more specifically:

If you have any fear of having been purged, print your info and bring it to the
polls.

If you have problems voting on Election Day, you may also seek out an election protection worker at the polling place, or place a phone call to an election protection hotline. In Suffolk County, you can call the Suffolk NYCLU at (631) 650-2301 to speak with a grassroots volunteer. And/or, you could call the national Election Protection hotline, which also has legal assistance available at (866) OUR VOTE.
